The Zachry Foundation Culinary Garden and CHEF Teaching Kitchen offers a garden-to-table experience that deepen the connections between gardening, plant-based cooking, and cuisines from around the world. Culinary programming includes experiences featuring the Garden’s in-house Chef Katrina Flores, local guest chefs and horticulturists, cookbook authors, breweries, distilleries, and wineries.
Culinary programming is also available for children and their families using the Culinary Health Education for Families (CHEF) curriculum which teaches basic nutrition and practical cooking skills. The program motivates participants to adopt and sustain healthier eating habits by learning to cook well, eat well and live well.
